here’s the thing…so i did not want to be one of those people who keeps posting that there is something big coming…over and over…but, i did not feel like i could be real and not say anything, so …i just decided to quit blogging until i found out what was going to happen, and well…it is all official now!
drum role….colorbok has purchased heidigrace designs….and i…have decided to join them as well! it is pretty exciting! just a few days after i had really been vocal about leaving hgd, colorbok contacted me…and well…we decided it would be pretty awesome to move forward together. it is funny how things fall into place, and even funnier how it is never as planned, or expected. i have been working back and forth with them for quite awhile now, and they are really an awesome company! i wanted to be sure i was moving in the right direction, and be sure i was moving toward personal goals. i spent a lot of time with the people i will be working with, and everyone is super creative, super fun, and super excited!
the other really cool news is that i will also be pursuing my other creative adventures…and i will be re-opening the store this friday! YIPEE!!! i am pretty stinkin’ thrilled that this is all falling into place. while keeping heidi grace designs going will be my main focus, it will be so much fun to have this other creative project to feed my creative spirit as well.
i will be working from home(which is awesome given my children are my muses) and from the office in the back of my shop(which is also awesome because my muses are inspirational but distracting.) we have already started to work on some new things and it is really fun stuff! i am working with a couple of super talented ladies here in washington as well as an amazing team of designers at colorbok.
and so…here i go again…another exciting, artistic, and thrilling opportunity!

I am soooooooooooo excited to know that you are going to be working with colorbok. I have alot of your paper and embellies and didn’t want to use them for fear of not being able to get more. Now I WILL use them because i know I can buy more and even new things from you. You have a wonder talent and I enjoy using your products soo soo much. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!!! P.S. that vaca you took reminds me so much of the types we did when our kids were little. The least planned are many times the most remembered vacations
